Payment & Delivery


This section sets out the main terms of sale for our Products. This section explains the contractual process for ordering a Product, the prices and delivery arrangements.


Every reasonable care and attention has been taken to ensure that all the descriptions and colours of our Products that appear on RIXO are accurate.  However, the reproduction of colours is as accurate as photographic and publishing processes will allow.  We cannot guarantee that your computer’s display of the colours accurately reflects the colour of the Products.  Your Products may vary slightly from those images. Of course, if you are not happy with the Product once purchased, you can return it, in accordance with our cancellation policy as found in our Returns, Exchanges and Cancellation Policy.

The packaging of the Products may vary from that shown on images on the Site.

All Products shown on the Site are subject to availability.

How the Contract for the sale of Products is formed between you and us

Your order is an offer to buy from us.  When you are placing an order, the following steps have to take place before a contract for the sale of Products (‘Contract’) is made between us in relation to your order:

After choosing the Product(s) you wish to purchase, you place your order for your Product by pressing the “PLACE ORDER” button at the end of the check-out process and submitting your payment details to us.

Before placing your order, the check-out process will give you the opportunity to review and, if necessary, to change your selection of Products and/or correct any errors in your order information.  Please take the time to read and check your order at each page of the order process.

You will be asked to click to confirm that you accept our Terms.  If you do not wish to be bound by what you read you should not place any orders through the Site.

After you place an order, you will receive an e-mail from us acknowledging that we have received your order, Please either print or note carefully the details of that page.

If we are unable to supply you with a Product, for example because that Product is not in stock or no longer available or because of an error in the price on our Site, we will inform you of this by email and we will not process your order.  If you have already paid for the Products, we will refund you the full amount as soon as possible, by the same method in which the payment was originally made.

Our right to vary these Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time for any reason, including to reflect changes in relevant laws and regulatory requirements.

Returns and Cancellations

Please see our Returns, Exchange and Cancellation Policy for the terms and conditions relating to the cancellation of orders and return of faulty, mis-described and non-faulty Products that you order from the Site.


Your order will be fulfilled by the estimated delivery date set out in the Dispatch Confirmation, unless prevented by circumstances beyond our reasonable control. If we are unable to meet the estimated delivery date because of such circumstances, we will contact you with a revised estimated delivery date.

We will deliver the Products to the address you give us.  Delivery will be completed when you or a person you have identified has taken physical possession of the Products.

The Products will be your responsibility from the completion of delivery.

You own the Products once we have received payment in full, including all applicable delivery charges.

International delivery

We deliver worldwide. However there may be restrictions on some Products for certain International Delivery Destinations, so please review the information on that page carefully before ordering Products.

If you order Products from the Site for delivery to one of the International Delivery Destinations, your order may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are applied when the delivery reaches that destination. Please note that we have no control over these charges and we cannot predict their amount.

You will be responsible for payment of any such import duties and taxes.  Please contact your local customs office for further information before placing your order.

You must comply with all applicable laws and regulations of the country for which the Products are destined.  We will not be liable or responsible if you break any such law.

We operate on a DDU (Delivered Duty unpaid) basis. Sometimes goods may be subject to delays, due to Customs or weather.

Price of Products and delivery charges

The prices of the Products will be as quoted on the Site from time to time.  We use our best efforts to ensure that the prices of Products are correct at the time when the relevant information was entered onto the system.  However if we discover an error in the price of Product(s) you ordered, please see below for what happens in this event.

Prices for our Products may change from time to time, but changes will not affect any order which we have confirmed with a Dispatch Confirmation.

The price of a Product includes VAT (where applicable) at the applicable current rate chargeable in the UK for the time being.  However, if the rate of VAT changes between the date of your order and the date of delivery, we will adjust the VAT you pay, unless you have already paid for the Products in full before the change in VAT takes effect.

The price of a Product does not include delivery charges.  Our delivery charges are as follows:



UK standard shipping £4.20 – 3-5 working days.  Please note that working days do not include weekends and Bank Holidays.

UK premium shipping £6.50 – 1-2 working days.  Please note that working days do not include weekends or Bank Holidays.



Our rates for international deliveries are:

Europe: £10

Rest of World: £15

The Site contains a number of Products.  It is always possible that, despite our best efforts, some of the Products on the Site may be incorrectly priced.  We will normally check prices as part of our dispatch procedures so that:

  • Where the Product’s correct price is less than the price stated on the Site at the time you placed your order, we will charge the lower amount when dispatching the Products to you; and
  • Where the Product’s correct price is higher than the price stated on the Site at the time you placed your order, we do not have to provide the Products to you at the incorrect (lower) price as the Contract between us, formed when we send you the Dispatch Confirmation, will not yet have been formed.  We will contact you in writing as soon as possible to inform you of this error and we will give you the option of continuing to purchase the Product at the correct (higher) price or cancelling your order. We will not process your order until we have your instructions.  If we are unable to contact you using the contact details you provided during the order process, we will treat the order as cancelled and notify you in writing.

How to pay

We currently accept various forms of payment for Products including by Visa, Visa Electron, Mastercard, Delta and Maestro Debit Cards and any other methods, which may be clearly advertised on the Site.

Payment will be debited and cleared from your account upon dispatch of your order and once the card details have been cleared to ensure the credit/debit card that is being used is yours, or that you have been specifically authorised by the owner of the credit/debit card to use it.  All credit/debit card holders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer.  If the issuer of your payment card refuses to authorise payment to Rixo, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery.  By accepting these terms and conditions you consent to such checks being made.  All information provided by you will be treated securely and strictly in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.

Payment for the Products and all applicable delivery charges is taken in advance.
