1. Tell us about Female Narratives
Female Narratives is a collective for female creative talent and a creative agency. We, the founders Tijana and Franzi, are both also full time models and have gathered a huge network of amazingly talented, badass women over the years. We wanted to create a space that portrays these girls as a whole as opposed to just as a model, just as a photographer, just as an artist etc. and also give them opportunities to help each other and cross collaborate. We also tell authentic stories for brands by putting bespoke teams of women together from our collective.

2. Tell us more about all the girls involved in this shoot?
All the girls in this shoot are part of Female Narratives, incredible at what they do and we always LOVE working and spending time with them! Stephanie is an brilliant photographer, Lucinda one of our favourite makeup artists, Nina has her own jewellery brand Nina Chanh and Danielle is an author, model and the founder of breakfast brand Qnola. This is just a sample of the wide range of creative women we collaborate with.

3. We love podcasts at RIXO, what are the top three inspiring podcasts you’re listening to at the moment?
The Daily for news, The Guilty Feminist for laughter and we are super excited for a new podcast being launched by our girl Jada Sezer – watch this space!

4. What’s your favourite meet-up spot in London when you all get together?
We love the AllBright in Fitzrovia – it’s the first female-only private members’ club in London , founded by Debbie Wosskow and Anna Jones who we as young female entrepreneurs really look up to. We also work from FORA sometimes which is a great co-working space.

5. How do you stick to a healthy lifestyle? (Meditation, yoga, healthy eating places, routine?)
We do a lot of yoga and we also try to walk everywhere if possible, we both live in central London which makes that easier.
We love eating out but also enjoy cooking ourselves when we’re having a home office day!

6. What trip do you have planned next and what RIXO pieces will you be packing?
We’re going to Burning Man and are also spending some time in LA before and after – I’ve already packed my Georgia Skirt! For trips we’re also fans of the neck scarves to make a simple jeans and white t-shirt outfit instantly stylish.

7. What’s your favourite Female Narratives project so far?
I don’t think there has been a particular project we loved the most – everything has been fun so far, our clients have been wonderful and it’s been great seeing Female Narratives and our projects getting bigger and bigger. Its always magic when many of us get together; we recently co-hosted a huge clothes swap together with our girls from What’s Your Legacy at the AllBright which was incredible.

8. How can women get involved with Female Narratives?
Simply drop us an email and tell us about yourself 🙂

9. What’s next for Female Narratives?
We’re working on a lot of exciting projects at the moment! Always keep and eye on our Instagram for events – we have something special coming up for International Day of the Girl for example. We’re also working on some really cool other campaigns with a whole bunch of our girls at the moment but most of them are still top secret…shhhh.

10. You have 5 minutes to get up and out the door – what RIXO item do you throw on and what would you wear it with?
The Tessa Midi Cami Dress is a great allrounder, with a white T-shirt underneath and trainers for the daytime – bare or with a black turtleneck underneath and heels for the evening. Also the Georgia Black Leopard Skirt works literally with everything!

11. What will you be snapping up from our new AW18 collection?
We’re in love with the Camellia – it’s just a classic and so flattering, the Multi Chalk Tulip print is timeless and beautiful. The Iris is also one of our new favourites!
